Our Mission
Improving lives through high-quality early childhood and behavioral health services for all ages.
At CenClear, we believe in creating strong, healthy communities by supporting individuals and families at every stage of life. Our services span Early Childhood Education, Mental Health, and Substance Use programs—designed to meet the needs of children, teens, adults, and families across Central Pennsylvania.
Established in 1980 as a nonprofit organization, CenClear began with a single Head Start program. As we identified unmet needs in the community, we built programs to bridge the gap. Today, CenClear serves Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Centre, Elk, Huntingdon, Jefferson, and Mifflin Counties—with select programs available in neighboring areas.
Early Childhood Education was the starting point of our organization and remains a key area of service. Our ECE programs include:
Preschool (ages 3-5)
Early Head Start (ages 0-3)
Early Intervention (ages 0-3)
Family Centers (ages 0-3)
Our Behavioral Health services include therapy, counseling, support groups, and a wide range of specialized programs. These include:
Family-Based Mental Health (FBMH) Services
Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS)
Mental Health Outpatient Programs
Maintaining Strengths Program (MSP)
Substance Use Disorder Services
Certified Peer Specialist Services (CPS/CRS)
Blended Case Management (BCM)
Community and School-Based Mental Health
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
A.C.E.
This broad range allows us to offer a seamless continuum of care for individuals and families of all ages.
