Position: Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Case Manager/Social Worker
Location: Child Advocacy Center of Clearfield County (CAC-CC) - Clearfield, PA

Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly (Non-exempt)

Pay: $40,000-$50,000 per year

The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Clearfield County at CenClear is seeking a dedicated Case Manager / Social Worker to coordinate services for children who may have experienced abuse and for their non-offending caregivers. This role is vital in ensuring timely access to medical, mental health, and community resources while maintaining compliance with National Children's Alliance (NCA) standards.


About the CAC:

The Child Advocacy Center is a child-focused, trauma-informed facility that brings together a team of specially trained professionals to evaluate and investigate allegations of child abuse and support families throughout the process.

CACs follow national guidelines developed by the National Children's Alliance and participate in ongoing training, peer review, and quality assurance to ensure a high-quality, child-sensitive approach. Services are delivered in a welcoming, child-friendly environment designed to promote comfort, safety, and healing.

About the Role:

The CAC Case Manager / Social Worker coordinates services for children and families from initial response through case closure and beyond. This position ensures timely access to medical, mental health, and community resources while maintaining accurate documentation and strong collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation required.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and track cases in compliance with NCA standards
  • Schedule and coordinate forensic interviews and medical exams
  • Provide reminder calls/texts for CAC appointments
  • Conduct follow-up with families within 1-2 weeks after forensic interviews
  • Provide referrals to evidence-based therapies and community resources
  • Assist families in overcoming barriers to services (transportation, insurance, housing, food, childcare, etc.)
  • Document all case activity in NCAtrak
  • Participate in monthly case reviews and emergency case consultations
  • Provide brief supportive counseling as needed
  • Collaborate with the MDT Coordinator and community partners
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all protocols

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Human Development & Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, or related human services field
  • Experience in a Child Advocacy Center or Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) preferred
  • Strong commitment to CAC mission and trauma-informed care
  • Knowledge of child development, child maltreatment, and victim advocacy
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to work evenings/weekends and be on-call as needed
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate
