The Child Advocacy Center of Clearfield County (CAC-CC) is seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and mission-driven CAC/MDT Coordinator to lead and support our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
This role is central to ensuring coordinated, trauma-informed responses for children and families impacted by abuse while maintaining compliance with National Children's Alliance (NCA) Accreditation Standards. About the CAC:
The Child Advocacy Center is a child-focused, trauma-informed facility that brings together a team of specially trained professionals to evaluate and investigate allegations of child abuse and support families throughout the process.
CACs follow national guidelines developed by the National Children's Alliance and participate in ongoing training, peer review, and quality assurance to ensure a high-quality, child-sensitive approach. Services are delivered in a welcoming, child-friendly environment designed to promote comfort, safety, and healing.
About the Role:
The CAC/MDT Coordinator oversees and facilitates all aspects of the Multidisciplinary Team. This position ensures effective collaboration among partner agencies, accurate case tracking and documentation, adherence to accreditation standards, and ongoing training and quality improvement efforts.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating across systems, balancing structure with flexibility, and staying calm and organized in high-responsibility environments.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Occasional evenings, weekends, and participation in an on-call rotation are required. After-hours responsibilities are shared and are not a weekly requirement.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate and facilitate all Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) activities and meetings
- Collect, document, and track case updates and outcomes using NCAtrak
- Track CAC referrals and county data related to child abuse investigations to meet NCA standards
- Collaborate with the CAC Director and MDT members to develop and maintain policies, protocols, and manuals
- Assist in creating and maintaining the annual MDT training calendar
- Support, train, and monitor MDT members, interns, and volunteers to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Maintain required case data submissions at state and national levels
- Serve as a resource for CAC staff and MDT members by providing guidance, research, and best practices
- Coordinate case updates with the CAC Case Manager/Social Worker to support timely family communication
- Provide backup coverage and crisis intervention, including after-hours support when needed
- Attend and facilitate all MDT meetings
- Build collaborative relationships with CACs and MDTs across the region
- Represent the CAC at community meetings and with local organizations
- Support accreditation and regulatory compliance efforts
- Assist with clerical and administrative tasks as needed
- Participate in regular supervision meetings with the CAC Director
- Support overall center operations to ensure a welcoming, organized environment
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all protocols
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required
- At least 1 year of experience working within the criminal justice system, child welfare system, or as part of a multidisciplinary team preferred
- Strong commitment to the mission of a Child Advocacy Center
- Knowledge of child development, child abuse dynamics, domestic and sexual violence, and law enforcement response
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage complex cases, resolve conflicts, and motivate team members
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy, including data entry and case management systems
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for on-call or after-hours needs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to work evenings/weekends and be on-call as needed
- Reliable transportation required
- Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate
