About the Role:

As the Department Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our department. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys juggling a variety of tasks.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a liaison to other departments on behalf of the Early Childhood team.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support.
  • Assist with scheduling, meeting preparation, and taking detailed meeting minutes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
  • Respond to email and phone inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
  • Coordinate for department-related activities and meetings.
  • Manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Cover front desk and phone responsibilities.
  • Work as a team with other assistants.
  • Participate in training to grow your skills.
  • Represent CenClear in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Help with other tasks as needed to support the team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Associate's degree in business or related field (preferred) OR high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Discretion in managing sensitive information.
  • Flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Required clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate.
