About the Role:

CenClear is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team! Our Preschool offers a supportive and engaging environment for both students and staff.

In Food Service, you help ensure that our children receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean and safe environment. Make a difference in the daily lives of young children by helping to nourish and care for them. Apply today!

What You'll Do:

• Work approximately 35 hours per week during the school year, following the school calendar (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.). Participation in summer training sessions is also required.
• Food preparation
• Washing dishes
• Cleaning and Sanitizing
• Follow all CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Programs) regulations and the food service manual.
• Practice social responsibility by checking email daily and responding in a timely manner.
• Maintain a professional attitude and confidentiality concerning information about CenClear staff, children, parents, consumers/clients, and families.
• Attend all required staff meetings and participate in on-the-job training.
• Communicate openly with supervisor by reporting any issues, concerns, or problems.

• Report any unsafe or special conditions that might lead to accidents, fire, etc. to office immediately.
• Attend required meetings and on-the-job training.

What We're Looking For:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Documented good physical health.
• Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate

Physical Abilities:

• Reach overhead.

• Ability to load and push carts from kitchen to classrooms and back.
• Operate kitchen appliances and utensils.
• Use brooms, mops, and other cleaning tools.
• Climb ladders and steps.
• Hand wash and rinse dishes using chemical sanitizers.
• Operate commercial dishwashers.
• Clean various surfaces using chemical sanitizers and disinfectants.
• Bend and retrieve objects from the floor.
• Vision and hearing within normal limits.
• Hand wash and rinse dishes using chemical disinfectants.
