About the Role:

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will guide and support outpatient therapists to ensure delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented services. Based primarily in Dubois, this position requires travel to other CenClear outpatient offices to provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical leadership.

What You'll Do (Quick Summary):

  • Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based supervision to outpatient staff, ensuring quality care and compliance with regulations.
  • Support therapists in delivering recovery-oriented, culturally respectful services.
  • Facilitate client intake, assessments, and individualized treatment planning, including discharge and aftercare.
  • Coordinate care with internal teams, external providers, schools, and community supports.
  • Monitor client progress using evidence-based practices and outcome measures.
  • Lead and support staff training, new hire orientation, and professional development.
  • Serve as a liaison between therapists, administration, and external agencies to ensure collaboration.
  • Promote CenClear's mission, values, and policies while maintaining a safe, welcoming therapeutic environment.

What You'll Do (Detailed Responsibilities):

Supervision & Administration

  • Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based clinical supervision (individual and group) through observation, case/service reviews, and recorded session feedback.
  • Support staff in delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented, culturally respectful services and ensure compliance with program standards, agency philosophy, and state regulations.
  • Document supervision in the electronic system and monitor staff productivity (24 billable hours/40-hour workweek).
  • Assist with treatment planning, program requirements, and professional development for supervisees.

Direct Treatment & Client Support

  • Facilitate intake/evaluations and provide individualized, recovery-focused therapy for individuals and families.
  • Develop and maintain trauma-informed treatment plans in collaboration with clients, including discharge and aftercare planning.
  • Coordinate care with internal team members, external providers, schools, and natural supports.
  • Use evidence-based practices and outcome measures to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.

Training & Development

  • Participate in ongoing professional development to strengthen clinical and supervisory skills.
  • Provide staff training, new hire orientation, and recommend training opportunities based on needs assessments.
  • Ensure staff complete all required training to meet program expectations.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Be available to staff for consultation, emergencies, and coverage as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between therapists, administration, and outside agencies to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain open communication across programs and promote CenClear's mission, values, and policies in a positive, professional manner.

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's Degree with a clinical practicum in a recognized discipline (psychiatry, counseling, social work, psychology, nursing, or rehabilitation/activity therapies) with mental health clinical experience (per Section § 5200.3); OR
  • Master's Degree or above in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty), or related field, plus 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency (including 1 year directly with chemically dependent individuals) (per 28 Pa. Code § 704.6).
  • Current Pennsylvania license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) preferred. License-eligible candidates will be considered.
  • Prior work with individuals experiencing both mental health and substance use disorders required.
  • Strong time management, communication, assessment, and intervention skills; ability to work collaboratively and manage stress effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel to surrounding outpatient offices as needed
  • Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate
