About the Role:
CenClear's Early Childhood Division is looking for a Preschool Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing caseloads in Centre Counties.
The successful candidate will provide oversight to preschool program staff in various areas, including education, disabilities, family and community partnerships, and preventative mental health services. What You'll Do:
- Work 40 hours per week, 44 weeks per year (42 weeks of work plus ten paid holidays)
- Provide oversight in child development, including curriculum fidelity, classroom observations, and behavior management.
- Establish and maintain family and community partnerships, including home visits and social service support.
- Promote parent engagement and health/safety/nutrition services in collaboration with the respective teams.
- Implement preventative mental health measures, including child observations and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in classrooms.
- Maintain professionalism and protect the confidentiality of all information related to CenClear employees, children, parents, clients, consumers, and families.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals and participate in program evaluations.
- Provide classroom coverage as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field.
- Two to three years of supervisory or management experience, preferred.
- One to three years of experience working in the early childhood field, required.
- Experience working with young children and families.
- Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards and applicable regulations preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead teams while ensuring compliance, quality programming, and a safe, supportive environment for preschool children and their families.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel as needed.
- Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate
